Customers, town and chamber representatives, and family members joined entrepreneur Sara Fitz at the ribbon cutting of Curvy’s Cupcakes and Confections at 18 Old Route 7. Sara, who also runs a family oriented Irish dance school, is a single mom and special education teacher who always had a passion for baking. “I’d really love to become a community staple becoming active in Brookfield and to build a successful business to one day pass to my children, taking over the world one cupcake at a time”, said Fitz. First Selectman Tara Carr added, “we are delighted to congratulate Sara on her lovely confectionery and bakery shop that has the most delicious (and a great variety) sweet treats! We’re so happy you’ve found a home here in Brookfield and look forward to seeing your continued success!”
