In Brookfield In the News

April 25, 2023. The Linden residents decided to drum up support for Dorothy Day, so entered a competition hosted by OneEightyFoundation and asked friends and family members for donations. On March 22 they received a letter that read, ”Congratulations, you have been awarded a grant of $1,075 from our foundation on behalf of February Fitness Frenzy fundraiser”. Receiving the check, Dorothy Day board member Scott Senete said, “Dorothy Day is helping the poor more than ever. Daily we are feeding 30% more individuals than we did a couple years ago, all without paid staff or government support, all thanks to the donors like you, the Linden and our great team of volunteers”. Residents are looking forward to next year’s fundraiser and competition to again help those in need in our community.

The Linden, located at 291 Federal Road, is Brookfield’s newest retirement community. For more information call Martha Breiding, Sales Manager, at 203-742-1547.
